Bellair Posted February 28, 2014 #1 Share Posted February 28, 2014 Hi everyone. Here are some images of the Oosterdam with both the Spirit of Tasmania 1 & P&O Arcadia in Port Melbourne on a beautiful last day of Summer. Shots take from my Phantom Drone with GoPro3 attached in both HD movie & stills at around 800ft. I have attached the stills at this stage. Let me know if you would like to see the video. Rare Copper10-8 Posted February 28, 2014 #3 Share Posted February 28, 2014 Really nice shots from your drone, thanks! Spirit of Tasmania is a ferry?
Lara Cruising Posted February 28, 2014 #4 Share Posted February 28, 2014 Yes, it is the ferry that runs people, their cars, small boats and big trucks between Melbourne and Devonport in Tasmania. Can be a rolling ride if the Bass Strait is stirred up - can be notoriously rough! Generally takes about 9 hours.
