Leaving tomorrow. Have that horrible feeling that I will forget to pack and/or do some thing before. What is a good checklist to follow before I leave?

I'm not sure what the rules are about linking other sites, but you can google "cruisin me checklist" and it will pull up the one that I use.

Actually, the only things that are most important not to forget is your ID (passports, birth certificates & driver's license) whatever you're using. And any medications. Anything else can be bought. Either onboard or in port.

Thanks! Shaded Lady Im so glad I glanced at your list because there were some things I didnt even think about on there (i.e. Highlighter and books).

Hey muffinbaby!

Like UKJJ, I use Ship Mate for my packing checklist. It includes a bunch of great suggestions and is able to be edited. And, the app is free!

OTC meds are expensive on board- sore throat, aspirin, bandaids and antibiotic ointment, even toothpaste and brushes. A Sun hat and sunglasses, and suntan lotion.

ENTERTAINMENT-Reading material, chargers for electronics and cameras, iTunes & earbuds, casino cash (if you like to donate to the ship funds),

I always start with Calgon's Ultimate Packing List and then modify it. You can google it to find the webpage. I'm also not sure if we are allowed to post outside links. It is very old but helpful. He breaks it down into what to pack where and gives you reason's for the stranger items that he takes.

I was curious about that too cause I had never seen it. Click on your countdown clock. Then click on the blue lines at the top right corner. It should come up.

We bring an over the door shoe holder and put it on the outside of one of the closets. We put everything from sunscreen to highlighters to anything that you don't want laying around the room. We bought ours at Target for $5 and it is the best thing for organizing.

No problem:

1) Open the app

2) Select My Cruises

3) Select your upcoming cruise

4) Press the three blue bars in the upper right hand corner of the screen. It is directly below the phones battery symbol if you're using an iphone.

5) The checklist is the third option from the bottom.

Hope this helps:)

If it helps, here's my cruising list... I've added to it each time someone posts a great idea! But don't forget this is for my DH & me- your list may differ!;)

That's a great list..thanks for sharing. We pack packing tape to wrap our luggage tags on before boarding. I also pack a travel blow dryer as I don't like the ones on board.
