russianmom Posted March 12, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 12, 2014 (edited) From FB: MORE ANNOUNCEMENTS - WINTER 2015/2016 ITINERARIES... Today we announced that our newest and largest ship to date, Norwegian Escape, will homeport year-round at PortMiami, the cruise capital of the world, sailing an Eastern Caribbean itinerary. DinaS Posted March 12, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 12, 2014 (edited) That was a lot to read, and perhaps I missed it. Did I miss seeing the information about the New York to Bermuda cruise, or is there no longer an NCL Bermuda cruise from New York? (I am asking because even though Bermuda is a summer itinerary, it starts in April and generally goes through to October.) DinaS Posted March 12, 2014 #6 Share Posted March 12, 2014 Aren't the Bermuda itineraries done in summer season only? There are fall/winter season itineraries. They typically run April through October, and I saw other April and October dates. I am sure you are correct, and they simply didn't list the summer cruises even when they go through the fall. Thanks!

I am sure you are correct, and they simply didn't list the summer cruises even when they go through the fall. The season change is always around the months of April and October, the dates vary depending on the ship and port. Dates you saw are still during the winter season and/or reposition cruises in between.

LrgPizza Posted March 12, 2014 #14 Share Posted March 12, 2014 The Spirit will be in Port Canaveral and will be alternating the exact same itineraries as the Escape and Getaway. I like that because I like the Spirt, and I like leaving from PC.
logan25 Posted March 12, 2014 #15 Share Posted March 12, 2014 (edited) Very Exciting! I'm excited to have the opportunity to sail Jade and Spirit closer to home, rather than have to fly to Europe. I'm excited to think of the possibility of cruising South America, and do it with our beloved Norwegian. I still need to snag my first Panama Canal transit (full or partial), and we do love the Pearl. Question is: How many of its sailings will be available to the "public" vs. how many will be chartered? I like that because I like the Spirt, and I like leaving from PC. It's very nice that they bring back alternating itineraries to Caribbean on the same ship, too bad (from our point of view) that they don't do that in Miami - for us it's much easier to fly to Miami than to Orlando. :D

rigs32 Posted March 12, 2014 #25 Share Posted March 12, 2014 I still need to snag my first Panama Canal transit (full or partial), and we do love the Pearl. Question is: How many of its sailings will be available to the "public" vs. how many will be chartered? Look at the dates mentioned. There is nothing currently being offered on the Pearl from Jan 1 through mid-March 2016. That's in line with the winter charter season, so there should be no need to deal with what NCL is doing for the winter 2015 sailings that were chartered.
