Done is Done Posted March 14, 2014 #1 Share Posted March 14, 2014 What company should I use for trip cancellation insurance? The quote I got from the cruise company was quite expensive.
CruiserBruce Posted March 14, 2014 #2 Share Posted March 14, 2014 (edited) There is a huge volume of info, and some extremely knowledgeable people on the Cruise/Travel Insurance board, here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=635 And this thread just a couple down from yours: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2002609 Edited March 14, 2014 by CruiserBruce
#1TravelMom Posted March 14, 2014 #3 Share Posted March 14, 2014 Definitely TRAVELGUARD. I helped a friend with a very large claim for a Hawaiian Cruise/land vacation. He had sudden health issues just a few weeks before going. We anticipated a lengthy process considering the size of the claim. They were awesome to work with - very friendly. They had their check within a few weeks! Great customer service! You never know how good a company is until you have a claim.
Rare sparks1093 Posted March 14, 2014 #4 Share Posted March 14, 2014 www.insuremytrip.com will allow you to put in your information and obtain quotes from several companies which you may then compare side by side to make sure you get a policy and price that work for you (we have always purchased TravelGuard Gold, FWIW).
