Ken at the beach Posted March 25, 2014 #51 Share Posted March 25, 2014 I'd like to know what is on the kids card as well. My gkids are gold and will become Platinum on our September cruise. Are the perks different for Platinum level? And yes, I know they wont be considered Platinum till AFTER we cruise. :D Our kids have had the same coupons from gold..platinum..Emerald. Unfortunately no changes. Also not sure when it changes based on age. I am assuming at 18 as that's when they are removed from the parents account. Spurschick Posted March 25, 2014 #54 Share Posted March 25, 2014 Sorry, but I don't know what your talking about when you say sharing the e.g.??? What they are saying is if the person with the coupon wants to use or "share" a coupon with a friend then the room card with the coupon on would need to be presented and ask to use the coupon they wish to redeem. The eg was just an example of a coupon they may wish to redeem:)

djfrickman Posted March 26, 2014 #56 Share Posted March 26, 2014 To the individual who was inquiring about their C&A status and are bringing a friend on their cruise who has never been on RC, once you get your C&A status situated, log in online under their website and find the "Bring a Friend" link under the C&A page. If your friend has never been on RC before, all you have to do is fill out a small form, RC will check it, and you can receive $25 of on-board credit. Easy Money!!!!!!:D:D:D:D:D:D
beshears Posted March 26, 2014 Author #57 Share Posted March 26, 2014 Ctrinco, so you say these discounts are on the Seapass card? Are they listed by name, picture or what? Djfrickman, my question, does my friend have to book another room, or can they be in my room for this credit, if you know?

Djfrickman, my question, does my friend have to book another room, or can they be in my room for this credit, if you know? You get a separate sheet of paper with the entitlements. The discounts on your card are electronic, just like your bank/account balance you don't see them, but they can see them on the terminal.

Don't know if they have ever been on RCCL but if not we'll definitely be claiming our $25 bucks! Hey every little bit helps! djfrickman Posted March 27, 2014 #60 Share Posted March 27, 2014 Ctrinco, so you say these discounts are on the Seapass card? Are they listed by name, picture or what? Djfrickman, my question, does my friend have to book another room, or can they be in my room for this credit, if you know? The friend can be in the same cabin. When I took my wife in November, she had never been on RC before, she was in the same cabin as me, and we got the $25 OBC issued. The only restriction is you have to be cruising at the same time as the friend. So you can't refer a friend if your not on that cruise and bank the OBC for a furture cruise. As for the discounts on the card, the coupons, when you get into your stateroom on the first day there will be a sheet listing all the coupons in your status level. Then when you want to use one, you just tell the employee to apply it when you make the purchase. I am not an expert but feel free to ask anymore questions, I will help if I can. BTW, in my opinion, one of the coupons is a "Free Spin to Win" in the casino. Don't let that one go to waste. Just go to the cashier window and ask for your "Free Spin to Win" they will give you a token and you put it in the slot machine. Who knows, you might be a big winner! beshears Posted March 27, 2014 Author #62 Share Posted March 27, 2014 Yes, I'm sorry. I got the two questions/comments mixed up.:( Thank you for letting me know the discounts will be on our letter when we arrive. I do have a question (if you know) about the Q & A, I had read someplace that if you bring a friend, RCCL will give you a $25 OBC. My question is this, does this friend have to be in another room, or can they be in your room?
beshears Posted March 27, 2014 Author #63 Share Posted March 27, 2014 This will sounds like a stupid quetion, but I say no question is stupid. What does BOGO stand for? It was mentioned for buy 1, get 1 free, or something like that.

It was mentioned for buy 1, get 1 free, or something like that. BOGO stands for Buy One Get One. That can be finished with "for free" or "half off", etc. The Big M, thank you for letting me know how we will know about the discounts that are on the Seapass, that they are on a different sheet. Just remember to *read* the sheet. There is so much paper given at the beginning of a cruise and throughout, and it's all so exciting, it's easy to forget to notice and read things. We've been home since Feb 4 and I'm still finding things I didn't notice before on the papers we got.
aronde Posted April 1, 2014 #67 Share Posted April 1, 2014 Thanks! Doesn't make sense to give kids 7/4 a coffee beverage coupon. Yes it is strange but on our cruise I just used the kid's sea pass cards to get myself some additional discounted coffees!
beshears Posted April 3, 2014 Author #68 Share Posted April 3, 2014 OK, they say "two heads" are better than one, so I will try to remember, to have my friend read part of the papers too, that we are given, to make sure we are up on everything that is going on. :)

My question is this, does this friend have to be in another room, or can they be in your room? The girl I spoke to last week said that it is one per stateroom. We have two rooms going with 3 new people split into the two rooms. Because both my sister and I are C & A members, in separate rooms we could only claim two people which we did on my sister's account since she is the one actually paying for the cruise. The two people are showing as pending, one in her room and one in the other room.
