Early arrival at Port Canaveral

Sailing on FOS tomorrow out of Port Canaveral. What would be the earliest time that RCI would allow guests access to the terminal? Departure is 4:30pm. I was thinking of getting to the terminal at 10am. I will be taking an Avis shuttle there.

You may be a bit early. Boarding generally starts at 11:00am. I would show up about 10:30. Check in then board with little waiting.

Our experience is that they open the terminal about 10:30

I got there around 1030am. They had started check-in shortly before that

so there was no-one in line at all. Easiest check-in ever.

You may have to wait briefly. But I'd rather wait in the front of the line, than the back. Regarding Avis, I've dropped my family off at the pier and then returned the car. It is a lot easier getting on the Avis shuttle by yourself without luggage. By the time you get back to the pier your family should have the luggage checked with the porters and you can walk right into the terminal.

10 would be fine as they take you inside . We get there around 9:45

We typically arrive 10:00 - 10:30 and usually have minimal wait to get inside the terminal.

We are on the same cruise & plan to arrive at 10:30...:D

I would get there about 11:15 just in case its not open at 11:00.

I enjoy getting there early about 10:00, instead of waiting at the hotel and going crazy with anticipation!
