Princess cruise in August

We are booked on the Royal Princess for August 19th sailing Northern Europe out of Copenhagen > Just wondering if there is a chance princess will not sail into St Petersbourg Russia due to political issues that are happening . What are the thoughts .

I would guess that there is always a "chance".

.....we have had a port cancelled because of "political unrest" in the past, and expect that those kinds of things will continue in the future.

I agree as this has happened to me as well several times. The political "unrest" is in the Ukraine, a long way from St. Petersburg and not in Russia so it's always possible that Russia might block tourism in retaliation to sanctions. Unless there's unrest in Russia itself, I don't see that happening. Anything can happen though.

This year Princess has a number of options RT Ft. Lauderdale all summer including August on the Caribbean Princess.

no we are going been there b4 . All paid and have our tours reserved . Just hope they can settle everything . Would hate to miss such a great place
