Splendor Deli

I will be sailing on the Splendor in July and I'd like to find out what they serve at the Deli on that ship. I'm assuming Deli sandwiches such as Pastrami, Corned Beef, etc. Can anyone confirm this is the case and if the food is good?

Thanks in advance.

There is a deli in all carnival ships.

The deli is outside behind the buffet on the port side. Open 11-11

Good is subjective and can vary day to day.

We like the vegetarian, tuna, pastrami and bagel, lox and cream cheese.

FWIW I ask for the bagel, lox and cream cheese as parts because they were taught that it should not be served open and they always want to heat it up!

Hi Garycruz :)

My last sailing with Carnival was a 16-day Splendor voyage. My wife & I found

the deli to be terrific.

We often located items in the buffet that we would put on a plate to bring to the deli

cooks and add them to our sandwiches; such as different cheeses, salami, etc. etc..

The cooks are extremely accommodating.

Everything was yum!! Have a wonderful voyage!

Here is the deli menu..

It seems that the deli has a nice selection and the consensus seems to be that the food tastes quite good. The menu is pretty much exactly as I had hoped. I appreciate the input from everyone.

I can't wait to get on the ship and sample all the different menu items. :)

The sandwiches are pretty good. DH usually gets the reuben a few times during the cruise. Got a grilled cheese w/o the ham for DS and jt was quite good also.

TURKEY WRAP! I LOVE me my TURKEY WRAP! :D;) Put a little scoop of mayo on the side and dip it just for a little bit more creaminess....Oh, I LOVE my turkey wrap! :p

Do you like the turkey wrap? :D I like the tuna salad. Wheat bread. Lots of lettuce. One of the best things about Carnival is the deli, IMO.

Tuna salad is great too. "Problem" is DH makes THE BEST tuna salad, so I am a bit spoiled...the turkey sandwich (on country roll) is good also. I haven't tried anything else. Did try the grilled ham and cheese once and it was "okay" but the deli guy was having "a bad day" and that might have been part of it!!! But that turkey wrap...oh, man, oh man! So simple, yet so delicious! :o:p
