Homosassa Posted May 7, 2014 #26 Share Posted May 7, 2014 I love good chocolate and the CMC doesn't do a thing for me. I also think a Guy's burger is the worst gray, greasy burger I have ever had.
FiveAce Posted May 7, 2014 #27 Share Posted May 7, 2014 This has the same cult following as RC's honey stung chicken. Both are average to me. I think for most people by the time they've tried it they've had so many other things to eat that it's hard to impress or stand out from all the other offerings. dogbert's mom Posted May 7, 2014 #28 Share Posted May 7, 2014 Give me Bitter and Blanc or the fig dessert any day.
hummingbird63 Posted May 7, 2014 #29 Share Posted May 7, 2014 Seriously, people?!...CMC is delicious!!! I order it every night I eat in the diningroom and my husband shares a bite or two of whatever dessert he orders, which is usually the creme brulee, another great dessert! I love the CMC, if I wasn't so full after appetizers and the entree I'd order two!! More CMC please!!! :p
IPlayWithString Posted May 7, 2014 #30 Share Posted May 7, 2014 Nope..not the only one. I'm not a fan of regular chocolate cake. Chocolate melting cake just doesn't appeal to me, though my husband loves it and usually orders two at a time.

carib1 Posted May 7, 2014 #32 Share Posted May 7, 2014 Your not alone. I have never even tried it, as I do not like chocolate:eek: (I know kinda weird huh)?
Rare crewsweeper Posted May 7, 2014 #33 Share Posted May 7, 2014 RE: WCMC When it is good, it is very, very good; but when it is bad, it is horrid!:D:rolleyes:
LindseyButlerWilson Posted May 7, 2014 #34 Share Posted May 7, 2014 It was entirely too rich for DH and myself. In fact a lot of the desserts were. I end up getting sherbet most of the time.
crusinpsychRN Posted May 7, 2014 #35 Share Posted May 7, 2014 Can't stand it. Don't like drinking chocolate syrup...
Chrisp414 Posted May 7, 2014 #36 Share Posted May 7, 2014 Tried it once. Not for me. I would've liked it better had it been more cake and less pudding. I agree with you on more cake/less pudding but I do like to get it at least one time when I cruise - I don't get it every night.
mephistoles Posted May 7, 2014 #37 Share Posted May 7, 2014 I didn't care for it either. It was too "chocolate-ly" (best "word" I can use to describe it). I like chocolate but I'm more of a milk chocolate type. The WMC tasted like the darkest dark chocolate. My son, however, loved it!
BlueHonu Posted May 7, 2014 #38 Share Posted May 7, 2014 My whole family loves it. I do ask for it to be more done instead of tooo melty. I had it every day on our March cruise.:D
AnnaBeth Posted May 7, 2014 #39 Share Posted May 7, 2014 I thought that I would love it, thought my girls would, too. But they thought it was way too runny and said it was disgusting! I tried it one other night to give it a second chance, and was just as disappointed! I love a warm lava cake and thought it would be like that but it was nowhere near cooked enough! srlafleur Posted May 7, 2014 #40 Share Posted May 7, 2014 Huh. I've never had it be runny. Soft, but not what I'd call runny. Interesting. I have had it overcooked - kind of yucky. I like to order it with orange sherbet instead of vanilla ice cream. I can never finish it because I'm too full and it's too rich. Usually a few bites to maybe about 1/2. I certainly don't get it to the exclusion of all else, only if there's nothing else that appeals to me.
OCruisers Posted May 7, 2014 #41 Share Posted May 7, 2014 I'm a diabetic so I don't do desserts ... but my DH does NOT like it at all. LuLu
bdever Posted May 7, 2014 #42 Share Posted May 7, 2014 Before my first Carnival cruise, I did my research and found chocolate melting cake was a must have. On the board I had it and did not care for it. I ordered it again on a different cruise thought I might miss something the first time. Well, it did not change much. To me, chocolate melting cake is just another average dessert. I am not saying I hate it. But I can go cruise without it.:o I cant stand anything that is chocolate chocolate. I love white chocolate or milk chocolate mixed with something like chocolate chip cookies or peanut butter cups.
092306 Posted May 7, 2014 #43 Share Posted May 7, 2014 I like it if it isn't too runny, but probably have it once the entire cruise. I like Bitter and Blanc way more. DH loves chocolate melting cake and has it every night so it has its loyal following.
YB Nrml Posted May 7, 2014 #44 Share Posted May 7, 2014 (edited) I used to order it almost exclusively every night. On our last cruise I ordered it the first night and after about 3 bites, blehhh. Too rich! Man it sucks to get older! :( Edited May 7, 2014 by YB Nrml
Jenny in TX Posted May 7, 2014 #45 Share Posted May 7, 2014 I don't care for it but I am not a huge chocolate lover. It is way to rich for me. I do love Bitter & Blanc and wish they would have it every night on the menu like they have the WCMC.
asalligo Posted May 7, 2014 #46 Share Posted May 7, 2014 I absolutely love it, my favorite dessert in the world, honestly.
Frank12 Posted May 7, 2014 #47 Share Posted May 7, 2014 The WCMC is only good as a dip for the fruit plate. I usually get the cheese plate for dessert. Now that sounds good! :)
sgttami Posted May 7, 2014 #48 Share Posted May 7, 2014 Don't really like it either...had a bite on one cruise just to taste it. Then again, I really don't eat desserts. I did like bitter and blanc and had two bites of that! Pam
