Norwegian Jewel Re-fit: any studio staterooms?

Recommended Posts

This appears to have been a typical clean up/update to such things as carpet etc. Not a major upgrade/rebuild. Pretty standard ship yard work, not a major rebuild/overhaul.

The addition of o'Sheehans and moving Moderno is a bit more than the standard dry dock work.

Just trying to differentiate between minor changes and the major adjustments they made when they removed Spinnakers and replaced it with suites and insides that took an extended period of time. Also required ongoing work after the ship was placed back in service. Two week "tune up" as opposed to a major overhaul.

Yes, certainly not as much as some dry docks, but not typical either.

Primarily optimistic that they'll add more across the fleet over time. They put a few on the Pride, with scaled down common space... so it's not out of the question.

I highly doubt that. POA is a class of her own and they also added new suites on her - there are no plans for adding new suites on Jewel class ships. They did that couple of years ago on Dawn class ships because just like POA, those ships were lacking suites. Jewel class already has the Haven so things are all right there.

Sad, but at least some ships have a fair amount of studios, almost always fully booked.....seems RCCL is the only one refitting and adding studios-three!
