Casino offer again

Recommended Posts

I got the Free Interior offer in the mail about 3 weeks ago and booked the same weekend I got the offer. I saw no offer online. But, today there is the same offer online. I wonder if I can use that one too?

(trying to search on the website but, it won't take me to any offer. Just in the searching mode)

Looks like this is from Carnival players Club, different from Premier offers. You get $100 casino cash and UP TO 40% off of cruise. I love that you can never figure out the prices were they start the UP to 40% off. More like 20%, there are a lot of ships that it covers up to sail by 31 Jan. Book by June 26, 2014. Don't know if you get anything like on a Premier offer. This one is signed by John Heald , Senior Cruise Director

To get an offer how much do you spend in the Casino? Is it just the action on your last cruise or last 1 or 2 cruises ?????? Do you call Players Club to see your status/offers ?

Thanks

Go to Carnival website, log in then click on deals at top...then click on VIFP offers..that's where I found mine..on my last cruise in Feb on the Dream I hardly gambled so not sure how I got this offer.

I was told I have 100 casino cash on next cruise within 24 months. No discount, no free cabin. I don't qualify yet for that because it is based on money spent onboard, and play in casino. Yet I see so many with free and discounted cruises that hardly spend any time in the casino...

I also got the offer and it worked for me. I just booked a cruise last week for December and that cruise was included on the offer. Called my PVP and she got me the reduced price on my sailing, saved myself $170. :)

I got my first casino offer a couple of weeks ago. Nothing big really, only the "up to 40% off" and $25 casino cash. Again not really a lot but I'll take anything they would like to give me. Because of the offer DH let me book a cruise in December. So I am happy. I gambled a little last cruise but not a lot. I know I will contribute to the cause a little in December as well. I only play slots and usually only the penny slots so I really have no idea how I got an offer at all. Last cruise I called the players club in advance to see if either of us qualified for anything, we got chocolate covered strawberries. Not much again but getting them free was sure better than ordering them for our cabin. Happy cruising everyone.

For those who get Casino offers! Last time we did 2 different ships in a row - booked one with casino rate and other with early saver. Well I went to the cashier cage on both and they had me down for Casino Cash!! So always check!!!:D

I got it too! Just booked a 4 day cruise! It was for an interior, but we spent the extra $50 each to get a window. I've been spoiled and haven't been in anything other than a balacony for a long time, but it's 4 days, so I'm sure we'll enjoy it just fine!!

Not sure why I got TWO West Coast offers this past month... One in the mail (booked for next month) and then today online (booked for October). Lord knows I do NOT play the slots that much on a ship.... But, very thankful.

After reading this post yesterday I checked and my husband and I neither one had any casino offers. We usually spend several thousand dollars in the casino. That being said, I decided to check my friends VIFP accounts. I book all the cruises for our group so I have everyones numbers. Lo and behold my friend who has spent a total of maybe $20 in a penny slot for a whole cruise got an offer. My head looked like it was on a lazy susan. It was spinning. So I decided to check others who have never spent ANY money in the casino and they had offers. My PVP knows I am the one responsible for these people cruising. They wouldn't go anywhere if I didn't come up with the ideas and do all the work. It just infuriates me that I am eligible for the "Diddly-Squat" award for booking all these people AND spending Boo-Koo bucks in the casino.

Actually I am not expecting a free cruise but a little something would help.

There is no rhyme or reason to how these offers work and in many cases I can say the same for land based casinos. I deal with it by playing at a level I can play at comfortably and have fun. If I get any offers or comps great, otherwise I still had fun and maybe even stayed even or won a little.

If I didn't have this attitude I would go crazy trying to figure out how and who they reward. I could write a book about my dealings with casinos and comps.

And maybe, I got these offers cuz I am on the west coast and I did deposited a couple hundred on each of the two past cruises... who the heck knows.

I go to Vegas a lot. Been there 44 times. I know exactly where I stand and what I can get from the casinos I frequent out there. Basically my comps have gone up over the years as my play has increased. Makes sense. The whole Carnival casino "comps" are the very reason we are considering another line for our next cruise. The gambling at night (and sometimes all day on a sea day) is a big part of the cruise for us so I'd like to deal with someone who appreciates our level of play.

I just posted this in the casino thread on this site as well.....although I played for entertainment, not comps their system def need more consistency.....

unfortunately you are right- no reasoning to their comps......I only started really gambling on my cruise last October.....only got about 1600 pts, got my drink card the last nite, and my husband got 1300pts....we started getting cruise casino offers for 40% off select and casino cash, 25 for me and 50 for him....lol.....I booked 3 cruises on this offer as prices pretty good, and just got off first of the three...got over 5500 pts so thought may get some comps.....letter the last night night was given to my room- 20%off next cruise and 50 dollars cruise cash...lol,worse than last offer if I changed the code. I called today, got to speak to a Michael, wasn't very nice or helpful...said if I got 5000 in first 5 days I would have gotten a free cruise offer(which I never expected nor tried to play for)...I was only at 4000 at that point, so I asked if any other comps available as seems should be something between 4000 in 5 days and 5500 plus in 6 days.....nope.Nada. Felt like cancelling the second cruise and go back to nlc as only min. deposit paid yet and not until Oct.
