ben and jerry suite question

Recommended Posts

I know about the ice cream and the lounge from 5 to 830 will I be able to go to barefoot beach as a lowly plat with this suite

The Ben & Jerry "sweet" is a standard Promenade stateroom - not a suite. The "sweet perks" offered based on its location above Ben & Jerry's in the Royal Promenade are limited to access to the Concierge Lounge with the cocktail hour and two free ice cream cones daily. No other suite perks - including Barefoot Beach - are included.

There is one way that you could gain access to Barefoot Beach. When we were in the "Sweet", we were able to get a Barefoot Beach cabana from the Concierge. With a cabana there, we had access to Barefoot Beach.

If your on the Indy just talk to Raj, he'd be happy to let you on to Barefoot Beach. He will do just about anything in his power for you. We had the Ben and Jerrys sweet this past March and he was fabulous.:)

No extra noise from the Promenade except during parades & the 70s party ... The crew door just to the left of Ben & Jerry's does get used a lot since it's the main door for them to move mid-ship. We heard it but it never kept us awake & my DW is a light sleeper ...

Ignore the opinion - as well as anything else posted by them.

Thank you!! Is there a way to get out & sit to overlook the Promenade area? I always saw an area up there but not sure if it was just for the employees or not?

Only on Oasis and Allure.

I knew not from the stateroom..Just wondering about access from another door or something out..It was hard to describe my question..lol Thanks!!

I just wasn't sure if you meant accessible from your stateroom, such as over Ben & Jerry's perhaps. As clarea indicated, there are a few areas that overlook the Royal Promenade that are public access on Oasis class ships, but only on those ships.

Where is barefoot beach? Is it on Labadee?

There's a Barefoot Beach on Coco Cay too, but it's open to all, so you don't hear of it often. It's where they have the two-person cabanettes (clamshells).
