mr.jdm Posted June 15, 2014 #5 Share Posted June 15, 2014 Just got off the Oasis yesterday. I had the RR drink package, yes virgin frozen drinks are included.
delirious9876 Posted June 15, 2014 #6 Share Posted June 15, 2014 (edited) It's a fabulous choice and quite reasonable, in my opinion, at $20 I loved the virgin strawberry daquari's - bet I drank 4 or 5 a day - lol On the package I usually average per day 2 fresh OJ 2-3 bottles of water 6-8 sodas 4-5 frozen drinks I don't have any problem getting my monies worth :-) Edited June 15, 2014 by delirious9876
dplusd Posted June 15, 2014 #7 Share Posted June 15, 2014 We tried the RR package on our recent Navigator cruise. You get "starbucks" type coffee drinks, soda, fresh OJ, bottled water, and "virgin" cocktails. Non-alcoholic drinks we enjoyed were virgin Bloody Mary, virgin Lava Flow, virgin Mojito, etc. We found most of the virgin frozen cocktails to be pretty sweet. We really tried to break-even (get our money's worth) but did not even come close. And we didn't get off the ship in ports! It was convenient, but in the future we will just pay as we go. Another note, on debarkation day we stopped at Cafe Promenade to get our morning Latte, and was told by the very nice girl there that the package is not good for Starbucks on the last day. PompeySailor Posted June 15, 2014 #9 Share Posted June 15, 2014 (edited) Replenishment package well worth the money Daughter was having 6-8 non-alcoholic drinks a day (would of been $6.50ea) Wife was having in excess of 8-9 piña Coladas per day non-alcoholic At least 5 bottles of water per day Throw in Sprites, cokes and the odd other drink No freestyle machines on Navigator, but stewards were more than happy to get these drinks for us. My coffees the odd 1 here and there So for $280.00 for the 2 RR Packages purchased we roughly would of spent $500 If with no package OJ we got in Windjammer and all the others were available at Boleros, Cafe Promenade, Casino, Windjammer MDR and Cosmopolitan Lounge I am sure also available at other places, but this is where we were able to get all of ours. After showing cards with RR sticker on for 1st few days, staff very rarely checked, they do need to swipe the card, but all zero and not one receipt or charge on the room bill all week.. Would highly recommend this package, and we will be doing again for next cruise Happy Days. Edited June 15, 2014 by PompeySailor
Ocean Boy Posted June 15, 2014 #10 Share Posted June 15, 2014 That seems wrong. I know the soda packages are good on the last day. On Allure it was not possible to get specialty coffee the last morning as the Café Promenade closed at 4 AM not to re-open until everyone was off of the ship. I don't know about Allure, but we are usually able to get specialty coffee in the MDR during breakfast on the last morning. Curious if anyone has been able to use their unlimited package this way. CRUISINGCPA Posted June 15, 2014 #12 Share Posted June 15, 2014 Does anyone know if it is it possible to pay the upcharge to get the alcohol in the frozen drinks? I know when they walk around the pool deck with the tray of drinks they do not add the alcohol until you purchase the drink.

If you are asking if it's possible to get credit for having the Replenishment package when you want an alcoholic drink, the answer is no. You would have to pay the full price of the alcoholic drink. delirious9876 Posted June 15, 2014 #14 Share Posted June 15, 2014 You could buy a neat Bacardi for example and add it into your frozen drink yourself. Is this what you mean ?? Or if you have a sprite soda buy a neat vodka as a separate ??

We had OJ in the morning, couple of types of coffee , one in the morning and one in the afternoon, soda with lunch and supper, a couple of frozen virgin drinks and coffee in the evening along with 4-6 bottles of water a day. We got WELL over $30.00 per day out of this package. We had asked if we could get coffee on the last morning from our favorite gal and she told us yes. We were going to get our coffee but were running late and had our hands full! :o Would do it again and are planning on getting the package on our next cruise! :D
jd07 Posted June 16, 2014 #16 Share Posted June 16, 2014 I used it on a 18 day trans pacific cruise rwcently on ROS. I had fresh Oj, virgin drinks (my favourite was the bora bora) soft drinks and bottled water. I even found some nice barmen that gave me cans of diet coke :). Well worth it as even bottled water alone would of covered my cost for the day :). Sent from JD's iPhone using Tapatalk
JasonV1 Posted June 16, 2014 #17 Share Posted June 16, 2014 (edited) Disclaimer: The specialty coffees you can get do not include the standalone Starbucks on the Oasis class boats, just those from the Cafe. Figured I would throw this out there since it is a frequent complaint as some people assume that the packages include ALL on-board coffee. In some cases the Cafe may even use Starbucks coffee beans (although some use Seattle's Best), which is included. You just can't use the standalone Starbucks (with the package), regardless of the package you have. Edited June 16, 2014 by JasonV1
CP3o Posted June 16, 2014 #18 Share Posted June 16, 2014 Remind those teens to tip the barstaff, especially for frozen drinks b/c they take some time to make. If some of us thought bar staff ignored kids with soda cards in the past, serving them last b/c they didn't tend to tip extra, it will be doubly so for whipping up frozen drinks on the $20/plan. I'm no fitness guru or financial advisor for that matter but this seems like a lot of calories and money for one week. The frozen drinks must be around 400 calories a piece and sodas 250. I think that is excessive along with food. 10,000 calories daily for a week? That could kill someone! Who would do that at home? Maybe 1 or 2 frozen drinks once in a while and an occasional soda tops. Just saying
