thebigpuba Posted June 19, 2014 #1 Share Posted June 19, 2014 I am sailing on the the Regal princess for XMAS and I was wondering if anyone has copies or can tell me where I can find the dinner menus for 7 night cruise and if there is a holiday menu for XMAS. Also if you now items that are always available and any items that are a must in dining room to try. Thanks
rdsqrl Posted June 20, 2014 #2 Share Posted June 20, 2014 Do not miss the Gingerbread Souffle. It's only served on Christmas (or maybe Christmas Eve). Absolutely delicious! You can get some ideas from this long thread. Not sure exactly which menus you'll have, but on a 7-day Caribbean cruise, you're likely to see the Welcome Dinner, Chef's Dinner, Captain's Gala, Italian, and Caribbean: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1887473
Rare cruisequeen4ever Posted June 21, 2014 #3 Share Posted June 21, 2014 I don't know if it will change in the Caribbean, but on the 7 day Med cruise aboard the Regal, about half were the same as the standard 7 day menus, and half were variations of menus where the meat was the same but the sauce different. Drool! :D I need to know more about this for my Christmas cruise on the Sun Princess. Is there anyone out there who has cruised the Aussie-based Princess ships over Christmas and who can confirm that this is available, and when? Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted June 21, 2014 #6 Share Posted June 21, 2014 Thank you, worldtraveller, I'll have my fingers crossed that the Sun Princess also has that Gingerbread souffle for Christmas dinner :D Last year we had gingerbread macarons from the Sydney Laduree shop. OMG! Seriously delicious. Even better than my Christmas Tiramisu.

Treven Posted June 25, 2014 #8 Share Posted June 25, 2014 (edited) WorldTraveller, I think I'll order one of everything! on the menu. :) The problem with eating on a cruise is that (almost) everything is so damned good it's hard to choose!
