First Oceania and b2b experience!

Looking forward to our first Oceania onboard Regatta experience! :)

First back to back departing Aug. 29th San Francisco to New York Sept. 16th

then staying onboard to sail New York Sept. 16th to Montreal Sept. 28th.

When we booked this cruise we could only reserve a Guarantee PH3 suite and wonder when we will be notified of the suite number? We have received the beautiful Oceania Cruise vacation guide with the luggage tags and the suite #is not indicated.

Also what are the chances of remaining in the same suite for the 2nd leg of our sailing? At the time of booking we only had the option of a C1 cabin.

What are your views on experiences during a back to back cruise and the logistics of change over day when we may have to move cabins.

I notice that Willie Aames is our CD ~ I have read some very positive comments on the boards and look forward to meeting him!

It promises to be an amazing trip and we will be posting pictures and views of our upcoming adventure.

On turn around day you will have to leave the ship for a short time but you should receive your new World Card a day before so no need to check in again

They will send all the information on what to do & where to meet a few days prior to the end of the 1st leg of your cruise

Your account is usually carried over to the next cruise but you will receive an up to date account the same as other disembarking

Enjoy the cruise

I also have a guaranty, Look up Oceania cabin guaranties on Search Cruise Critic, top of this page right.Says O sells Gs when all cabins in that catagory are assigned. Agent said they can go as late as prior week to sail for cabin # notification.

We just did a b2b last month and you did not have to leave the ship. You stayed on if you wanted to stay----also they had lunch for b2b people in the Grand dining Room.

Was turnaround day in a US port ?

We have always had to disembark for a short time also in Dover UK

Thanks all! We will wait and see which suite Oceania assigns us.

We are grateful for the information shared on Cruise Critic and look forward to contributing when we are onboard Regatta in August!

and did not have to get off at all. They give you your World Card the day before...make sure you check it to see if it works, but you can always call from a phone by an elevator and have them let you in. If you have to change, they will change you. No worries.

Different rules for B2B cruisers in US ports than European ports

It was the May 22nd cruise from New York to Dover-- then on to Copenhagen. Wasn't ask to get off, Butler had breakfast in suite at 9:30AM, after that we walked around a bit--suite cleaned and reset with everything---Lunch in MDR, and waited for our friends to join us that on that part of the cruise. Butler even came in a few times to see if we needed anything while we waited.
