I'm considering trying Royal for the first time but have a slight concern about the balconies being too "closed in" compared to Celebrity. Can anybody who sailed in these cabins let me know if they have the all metal balcony or the part glass balcony. Any other info to help/guide me in cabin selection would be great.

Anything above deck 6 has a partial glass balcony wall.

There is lots of ambient light....it won't feel "cave-like", even with the metal bottom wall. No worries!

These are cabins on the hump and it's a great location. Very convenient to elevators & stairs. There is a wall between the cabins and the Centrum so it is very quiet. The balcony is glass below the railing.
