Recommended Posts

Hi I want to say I joined not to long ago and I love this forum lots of info and tips

So I have another question how much spending money would you suggest to have on allure of the seas

I am interested in eating at at least 1 specialty restaurant (which one would you recommend ) I do want to do bingo ( do you know how much bingo cost) I also I would like to do the casino I love sex and the city(is this slot machine on the ship?) also I am very asthmatic is the non smoking side of the casino still smell of smoke? So what advice on spending money how much did you spend on the cruise?

Can't answer all your questions, but as I remember the non-smoking side of the casino is still fairly smokey. As for specialty restaurants, it depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for a very nice dinner, look at 150 Central Park. It's a 6 course tasting menu and a really wonderful dinner. Each course comes with a wine pairing. The wine pairing is optional. You can choose to purchase it or you can order a bottle, etc. What we did was split a wine pairing. For us, 6 glasses of wine is quite a bit. When we split the pairing, we each got a glass with a small but very reasonable pour. The cost for the wine is $75.

As for other restaurants, I am always a "steak" man so Chops for me. It is a very nice dinner. We also have done Giovanni's for lunch. It's cheaper, a slightly reduced menu, but still a great meal. Chefs Table is also an option. We did Chefs Table on Legend, and loved it. Plan to do it again on Quantum.

So again, depends on likes and desired experience. A dilemma, but a really good one.

My first cruise was on the Allure in '12. We enjoyed ourselves. It was a little too big for our tastes, but still had a great time. We loved Giovanni's Table. It was well worth the $25.

I've never played bingo but we did spend a lot of time in the casino. However - if you're asthmatic, I would recommend avoiding the casino. While we didn't think that the casino was too smoky - the "non-smoking" side is not closed off from the smoking side. It bothered my mother, but not us. :-)

Hope you have a fantastic time!

There is usually 1 non smoking night in the casino per cruise (often on formal night) though this may have changed now that they've eliminated indoor smoking anywhere BUT the casino.

I recall bingo being about 25-30 bucks, but it's multiple plays on a machine, not just one card. I don't play, but they advertise it ad nauseum, and this is what I recall!

It's tough to suggest a budget since gambling can be what ever you decide- sky's the limit! ;)

You already started on the wrong foot bingo and the casino and then you ask the question about how much $$$ you should bring. With those habits bring a whole lot of $$$$$$.

If you were looking at specialty restaurants, I would lean towards Chops. They have excellent steak and seafood; and the atmosphere is wonderful. Have fun!! :)

How was the seafood I love seafood what kind did they have? did they have broiled crab cake?

We cruised the Allure in June. We walked through the casino and could definitely smell the smoke.

We chose to only eat at one specialty restaurant and ate at Giovanni's on the last night. It was the best meal the whole cruise!

We had never played Bimgo onboard, so thought we would give it a try. No proces listed, which is annoying. They have a few different packages. There were 5 of us, so we split an $88 package. Pricey is an understatement! Glad we played since it was fun, but too expemsive to play more than once.

I am on allure right now. We just pulled into ft laud. We had a amazing week. We are at chops and it was absolutely delicious. We almost went again.

The casino has smoking on on side and it was super smokey all week. It's one of the only indoor smoking spots so the smokers were hanging out there. The pool deck allows smoking on one spot and it was gross just to walk through too

I didn't play bingo but it seemed to be offered everyday
