Got mine yesterday! I've bought $5000 since the fall. The cruise is paid for, gratuities paid, excursions booked and paid for. Now to buy more for casino and spending money. Overall I will save close to $1000!

Can you apply the Verizon Gift Cards to Sign and Sail card through carnival.com or by calling Carnival's customer service number?

Neither. You have them applied during check in at the terminal. Or once you are onboard at guest services or using the kiosks.

I'm trying but says my card is invalid. Wonder if they sold out and my order won't go through. Tried 2 cards

No, they're still on there and available to purchase. It's most likely your credit card company blocking the purchase because it's not a normal purchase for your buying patterns so they have flagged it as possibly fraudulent. The first time I ever purchased Carnival gift cards, I had to call my credit card company and tell them I was making the purchase. I've never had a problem since then because I have ordered them several times. I guess the computer is "used to" seeing that kind of purchase from me now. Wouldn't hurt to call and have them on the phone with you while you are actually making the purchase.

Called Visa and we are all good there. Still won't let me order.

Finally went through.... think my issue was wanting to ship it to my husband's shop. I'm never home to sign. Last time I was due to surgerical leave. Guess I will just have to try to head it off at the UPS store. Is there any amount you don't need to sign for?? I'm not over familiar with this new process. When I used to get them it was always an e card.

YAY !! :) :) :)

I think if it's $500 or more you have to sign for it. If you sign up for My UPS (or whatever it's called : ) you can have them change the delivery address or you can have them held at the UPS location of your choice for you to come pick them up. You will have to have an ID with you when go get them.

I saw the last two 500 disappear on the Verizon site..out of my very cart while I was trying to enter the card number! You have to be FAST to get the big ones. But, I managed to get 5(daily limit) of the $100's on Verizon AND AARP. I'm trying to pay for a family cruise Dec 2017 for 4 cabins and save as much as I can.

So, they lasted at least from noon-5pm central time.

I think this was the thread that wanted to know order/turn-around times.

I ordered 5 $100 cards on the same day for Verizon & AARP on 4/20/16.

Verizon shipped regular usps and arrived first, 6 days later.

AARP shipped UPS ground and arrived last, 8 days later.
