Hotel near Jacksonville FL port

Anyone recommend a hotel near Jax port? Not looking to keep my car at the hotel. Plan to drive to port and leave car there. Just looking for a decent/clean hotel, nothing fancy. Thanks!

Not sure which direction you are coming from but we drive down from Georgia and usually stay around the Jax airport. All of the major chains are there and you can usually get a pretty decent rate.

 

We like Hampton Inn so we usually stay there because there are three restaurants within walking distance and that way we don't have to move our car. It was nice and clean and had a great staff.

 

You would be about 10 min or so from the Port

The "Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Blount Island" is less than a mile from the cruise terminal. I know there is a fast food place or two nearby as well. That location is right at the intersection of I-295 & Hecksher Drive.

 

We're local but always use the port parking instead of the lot that is located at the entrance to the port and have no idea about the hotel's policy on cruise parking.

We like to stay at the Hampton Inn Jacksonville East Regency Square. It is very clean and about 10 minutes from Jax Port.

I second the post about Holiday Inn Express Blount Island! Stayed in March, cruise and park package. Excellent value, great beds and staff. Highly recommend!

Have you decided on a Hotel/Motel..??

 

Airport RD area there is lots of Hotels/Motels..

And a Walmart and other stores and lots of

Restaurants...............

Airport RD is about a 10-min drive from the Cruiseport...

Hi,:) there are at least 20 hotels right near the airport....

Many chains......there is also a fairly new shopping center called

RIVERCITY MARKETPLACE nearby....restaurants and stores:)

 

Actually, here is a link from the Chamber of Commerce...visit Jacksonville.

Click on the link for location and then scroll down to "Northside/Airport".

You will then see all the hotels in that area. Most of the ones suggeted

eariler in this thread are listed, as well as many others.
