Another question. Say I buy a bottle of wine at the 25% discount does that only count as one drink toward my 15? And what about a bucket of beer?

Looks like it went through OK. As I said earlier, this is not something the PVP just came up with, looks like it was pasted from a formal release from Carnival. Definitely worth purchasing now, especially since a bottle of Crown has risen to $85 from Bon Boyage.

The bottles of wine don't count (glasses of wine do), and you can't use Cheers to buy a bucket of beer, although you can build one by ordering a beer every five minutes.

The one thing I don't understand is it states "due to state law, on ships sailing from Texas, it cannot be purchased on embarkation day and can be purchased on day 2". On Royal sailing from Texas, same port, you can buy the unlimited beverage packages online ahead of time or the minute you board the cruise. I don't understand why Carnival would be prohibited, but not RCCL.

I drink absolut vodka and crown royal. I wonder if these drinks are and will remain under $10. I hope they don't raise the price of premium bevs in order to limit what you can drink under the cheers program.

It can be used anywhere on the ship. It is not valid on HMC or for room service.

I just wondering if they will still have the $5 match play with the Classic Cocktails and if they will let you get the $5 tickets with the cheers program. Hope any one cruising soon and who does the cheers program will come back and let us know if you can still do this.

They need to have the program usable on the private islands. I'm wondering why they don't. Everything is done thru your sign and sail card anyway. People want to chill and drink on the beach. I'm loving the new lower price though :)
