tillydog Posted August 11, 2014 #4 Share Posted August 11, 2014 Been on Voyager twice. Love the size, the Royal Promenade, the Ice Show, the PR staterooms are pretty neat too (stayed in one on our last cruise). Would love to go on her again, but her sister, Explorer of the Seas is coming to Australia in Nov 2015. Have booked on her instead. cruzdreams, are you Aussie or are you coming to our shores from overseas?
Clarea Posted August 11, 2014 #5 Share Posted August 11, 2014 Peek-a-boo bridge. Skylight in Promenade ceiling, unique to Voyager.
Beyond The Sea 03 Posted August 11, 2014 #6 Share Posted August 11, 2014 Hi guys, We are booked on a new year's eve cruise on Voyager this year. Have only done European cruises before. Does anyone know whether they cater for Aussies on cruises out of Sydney? Vegemite with the toast or beetroot with the salads? Can't wait to find out more! :)
taninaus Posted August 11, 2014 #7 Share Posted August 11, 2014 Absolutely. Vegemite can be found in windjammer and in the restaurant just ask - take a few extras for later. Also pool side BBQ's on sea days. I don't eat beetroot so can't confirm that. They do like the aussies and play up to the crowd. Enjoy your trip TanInAus

mmn531 Posted August 16, 2014 #12 Share Posted August 16, 2014 DW and I were married on the Voyager. That is the first thing I love about her. I wish I could go back and just sit in the chapel, which was beautiful, and just relive that time in my mind. Loves on the ship: Viking Crown seems better on this class of ship LOVED my hump balcony Watching the bridge action when pulling in to port The casino rocked. (well I actually won money this cruise) Sad art on that is my dollar chips from every cruise ship, I lost my first 4 in a move event. Voyager being one of those. Guess I will have to wait for her to get back closer to me so I can go back and relive that time and get my ship :)
Iluvcruising2 Posted August 16, 2014 #13 Share Posted August 16, 2014 Voyager of the Seas - she was our first Voyager class ship. Sailed a 14N out of Sydney - our very first 14N cruise. Before the cruise, we were not sure if we could enjoy such a long cruise. But it ended too fast.
