Cabin Change after Final Payment (eDocs)

Recommended Posts

I know about the eDocs, but last night I upgraded my cabin due a price decrease after final payment was made.

My eDocs for my previous cabin have been issued. My question is will Royal Caribbean reissue the edocs to reflex the cabin change. The old eDocs have the old cabin number for luggage tags, how do I go about getting luggage tags for the new cabin.

Thanks for your help.

Royal will not automatically re-issue docs. Call whoever booked your cruise and ask for the docs to be re-issued.

When I upgraded on EN through the D+ desk, they told me to wait 24 hours and the Edocs would be updated. I did this a few days before we sailed and although the docs updated, I don't think the luggage tag template was changed. I think we had to get new tags from the porter.

If the eDocs are now updated after 24 hours, I would call RCI.

I changed cabins after edocs and luggage tags were issued on our last cruise. All I did with the luggage tag was white out the number and wrote the new cabin number on the tag and the luggage arrived with no problem.

Good idea to white out the old stateroom and then copy enough for your luggage.
