Rare SpainAlien Posted September 28, 2014 #51 Share Posted September 28, 2014 Thank you all for this thread, I am sailing on Brilliance around the Baltic capitals in June next year and I can't wait. We have a large ocean view cabin I3584 which looks good but if anyone has any negative comments on it please let me know whether I should change. Many thanks again Gail
gymnastmom1 Posted September 28, 2014 Author #52 Share Posted September 28, 2014 Anyone know if you can purchase a day pass to the spa and the cost? I would love to relax on the hot stone loungers. Can you reserve a time or are they first come first serve?
Mar56 Posted October 29, 2014 #53 Share Posted October 29, 2014 (edited) As promised, here are some photos-loved the cabin - the layout was fine - lots of room - and the window was amazing - could lay in bed and look out at the sea. Also loved how close we were to everything. Edited October 29, 2014 by Mar56

Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S 5 using Tapatalk Category G - Large Ocean View Stateroom - added on her last dry dock. Great room. Couldn't hear any noise from the centrum even though it was maybe 60 feet from our room, at most. Only thing we heard was the pilot boat dropping off the pilot - but that was usually about the time I woke up anyways so no issues.

GTO-Girl Posted October 29, 2014 #57 Share Posted October 29, 2014 I love the sound of this! I'll be sailing on Brilliance in January with my daughter and we'll definitely have to do this. We are on the same sailing and cannot wait to try the Radiance class. This thread has gotten me very excited!!!
Mar56 Posted October 29, 2014 #58 Share Posted October 29, 2014 Thank you! This is our cabin over the Thanksgiving weekend! (And we've booked panoramic oceanviews on Vision for next Thanksgiving!) You are welcome. You'll love this room - so close to everything - no noise at all except the pilot boat as I mentioned in a later post. Loved being able to look out that window - first time without a balcony and no issues what so ever. Would book it again in a heartbeat. Took all of 30 seconds to get to 5th deck and outside. If you have the same room steward as us - Elizar - he was fabulous. A ninja - didn't see him too often but we had agreed that I would leave notes on bed if we needed anything and he'd take care of it. And he did. Nice man as well. Enjoy your cruise. Also loved how close we were to everything. What lovely photos, thank you for posting them. Since you have just got back could you please tell me if shampoo/showergel is included in the ocean view cabins on board Brilliance? I have read that some cabins in the RCCI fleet do not include it and others do so I wasn't sure whether to pack some or not. Many thanks Gail

There is a shampoo/conditioner dispenser in the shower and our room steward also provided the requested, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion tubes and replenished them when they ran out. Just ask and your room steward should do his or her best to accommodate your wishes.
