We will be in Melbourne on Radiance of the Seas Saturday, March 21. We will be meeting friends and would like to know where we should suggest they meet us. Thanks...:)

Either at the tram station near the wharf or if you want to go into the city Myers are the two we usually suggest.

Crowne casino. You can take the 109 tram right there and then go and have lunch.

All trams in the Melbourne CBD grid are now free. This makes movement really easy.

Best way to see the City - Start at Flinders St Station and Fed square and walk to Degraves St, up through Centre Arcade. Cross Collins St and go through Block Arcade to Little Collins St. Go through Royal Arcade to Bourke St Mall. Hop on a tram and go to the top of Bourke St and see Parliament, Treasury, and the grand Windsor hotel. Head up Spring St to see the World Heritage Royal Exhibition Building. Spend some time at Melbourne Museum and see Wominjeka - the international award winning Aboriginal display and check out the museum's live inside forest! Head back down to La Trobe, pop on a tram and get off at Swanston St, see the State Library. Get a tram down Swanston St and get off at Fed Square. Walk down to the National Gallery of Victoria and have a wander around in there.

That should give you a big day and you'll really get a flavour of Melbourne. :)

Bourke St mall is basically THE centre of the city. Regardless of meeting anyone, this should be your fallback if you get lost. :)
