arizonaperson Posted September 15, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 15, 2014 (edited) What can you tell me about the Gelato on The Crown Princess? Anyone recently been on The Crown and do they still have gelato? Is it at the International Cafe? What is the charge, typical flavors, etc. Edited September 15, 2014 by arizonaperson
bcnvcanada Posted September 15, 2014 #2 Share Posted September 15, 2014 Yes, it is still on the Crowne, flavours change daily. Don't know the price, as we used a coffee punch.

Very interesting, since AFAIK, the only ships using a punch are Royal and Regal.

MJSailors Posted September 15, 2014 #6 Share Posted September 15, 2014 Delicious gelato is served at the IC on the Crown. Last Dec on our cruise ,I remember that the fee was $1.50 for three generous scoops. I did have a coffee card, but I don't re call using it for gelato. I do seem to remember that the gelato was available later in the afternoon and evening. Two favorite flavors were chocolate/hazelnut and an eggnog which had an Italian name. Enjoy! Pia, Yes the other ships that have gelato will punch your coffee card. They did on Emerald and Crown. I think the difference is that Royal and Regal have a dedicated gelato place and on other ships it is small case in the IC.
Putterdude Posted September 16, 2014 #8 Share Posted September 16, 2014 Well, I have learned something about using the coffee card, thanks. I do know that the flavours tend to rotate.
rdsqrl Posted September 16, 2014 #9 Share Posted September 16, 2014 With so many people apparently using coffee card punches for gelatos costing only $1.50, I think all you stockholders can expect a nice bump in dividends next quarter.

Recently diagnosed diabetic and figuring out life.thanks I have never seen it however they have hand dipped sugar free ice cream in Sprinkles. They usually only have one flavour and you have to ask for it.
