DebraD56 Posted September 19, 2014 #1 Share Posted September 19, 2014 Do you have to pay upfront for the Shore Excursions, or can you pay for them on the final bill when you get off the ship? I remember booking shore excursions before and not having to pay them until we get the final bill from our SeaPass when we leave the ship? Is that still correct? Thanks.. If you book excursions before the cruise, you pay in full at the time you book.
cb at sea Posted September 19, 2014 #3 Share Posted September 19, 2014 Anything you book in advance on RCI, whether excursions, or specialty dining,, you pay at time of booking.

MattInFLL Posted September 19, 2014 #5 Share Posted September 19, 2014 You can book on board and then the charges are added to your sea pass account. However, in this new age of cruising, a lot of people now book everything ahead of time before they get on the ship. So, for the more popular excursions, just know that if you wait to book onboard you risk it being sold out or not having the ideal time available. DebraD56 Posted September 21, 2014 Author #6 Share Posted September 21, 2014 Thank you all so much for you answers. Now I have another Question. We will be docking in FT Lauderdale at 6 in the morning and our plane won't leave until 6:00 pm at night. We see that RCL has a nice FT Lauderdale tour that takes about 3-4 hours and then drops us off at the FLL Airport. We have never had a flight this late before and we never had to hang around until the plane leaves. I would rather hang out on a shore excusion, than at the airport. My question is, where do we keep our luggage? Do we take it with us in the tour bus? As always, thank you all in advance for this help.

The luggage is put into the bottom storage area of your tour bus, safe and secure. I have done this a couple of times, and it worked out well.
