Asked my aaa ta for you (my mother haha) she says they're available starting in April of 2015 or about that time. That is about a month before the books are available.

It will depend on what you want to spend. The train will be a lot cheaper, but more work. It is about a 5 minute walk from the train station in Civi to the entrance to the port. It is even a gentle down hill walk

Sadly this is no longer the case. Due to ongoing construction, the entrance to the port has moved farther from the train station -- it looks like it could be permanent. The walk is now quite a bit longer, but there is a shuttle for 80 euro cents pp to the new entrance from the train station at regular intervals.
