Something to do in Miami on Saturday?

We get back to Miami from our cruise at 8AM on Saturday and dont fly back to Seattle until very early the next day. We plan on dropping our bags at the hotel, (JW Marriott Marquis) then we have the whole day free. We werent planning on renting a car (but we could), we thought we would bus it, take a taxi or walk.

What do you recommend we do for the day, and should we rent a car? We like to try new things, our in our 50s and in OK shape. Neither of us are big drinkers.

Looking for something besides just sitting on the beach. What do you think. What would you do?

Thanks for your help, we appreciate it.

You can get a lot of information by also posting this on the Florida Departures Board which I post on often.

No need to rent a car.

You might want to take a taxi over to South Beach. It's a fun area to walk around with lots of restaurants, stores a few museum, the boardwalk and people watching. You could also have lunch there or dinner depending on what time you went. The drive is about 20 minutes from your hotel. We are not beach people but go there sometime during the time we stay in Miami.

We're doing the same thing. Our cruise gets back on Saturday and we leave for home Sunday morning. So we're staying in Miami Beach, going to the beach and doing an Art Deco cocktail tour. It should be a fun and relaxing way to wind down before going home.

You might ask this question on your CC board.
