Westerdam at Gatun Locks earlier today. We'll be on her in 82 days. :)

Thanks for the pics! My first cruise was on the Westerdam and ended the morning this cruise started. I wanted to barricade myself in my cabin and continue on.

The pictures were great and they bring back many memories from a year ago when I did this voyage on the Westerdam.

Just off that cruise so thanks for the pictures.

 

You may be interested to know that we had to have a medical evacuation in the locks at Gatun. In the final lock the water level was reduced so that a passenger could be carried off on a stretcher to the waiting ambulance. The remining water was removed from the lock and we sailed out. All quite dramatic and hope the passenger made a speedy recovery
