cavydad Posted October 24, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 24, 2014 RCL sent an email telling me to book my My Time Dining reservation. The ship departs on December 7, 2014 - about 6 weeks from now. I called RCL and was told I could not make the reservation as it was more than 90 days away. I told him it is 43 days from now. He told me the computer would not let him make the reservation. I tried to make the reservation on line and was told to make the reservation when I boarded the ship. Why did RCL contact me about making my My Time Ding reservation and was told me it was unavailable? I have been waiting 18 minutes - so far, on hold waiting to speak with a supervisor. any ideas on how to get RCL's attention?
cb at sea Posted October 24, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 24, 2014 It's not a big deal if you wait until you're on the ship...they don't open the "popular" times online, anyway.
Goodtime Cruizin Posted October 24, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 24, 2014 If you decide to book your time(s) on the ship... do two things. 1. First identify the starting time of any evening show(s) you want to enjoy. 2. Then go your assigned dining room and make your reservations accordingly. These should be your first two stops as the MTD popular times can go quickly.
Ashland Posted October 24, 2014 #4 Share Posted October 24, 2014 Don't worry about or stress over this...when we do MTD we find it easier to just show up..no need for reservations...you may find the flexibility from night to night works best...enjoy ! bighairtexan Posted October 24, 2014 #5 Share Posted October 24, 2014 I'm less than 40 days out. One person on our R/C got that email saying she could book her "my Time" dining reservations online and they provided a link. Only thing is, she's doing LATE traditional dining. Now, mind you, I'm doing My Time. I always HAVE been doing My Time; and did I get that email? OF COURSE NOT!
Big_G Posted October 24, 2014 #6 Share Posted October 24, 2014 Don't waste your time. We booked on-line for our last cruise and the day we boarded we decided to try and change the time. We headed straight to the dining room and found they had no record of our on-line reservation. We ended up with better time.
