The_Big_M Posted November 3, 2014 #30 Share Posted November 3, 2014 Yes, sometimes it is the only way to take advantage of drops after final payment.:D For the few hundred or so you likely paid, the extra benefits are well worth it. You may find it hard to go back ;-)

See if you can get a Century Suite or above so that you get Michaels Club privileges. That is well worth the extra.

cruisin-m Posted November 4, 2014 #35 Share Posted November 4, 2014 when the Diamond & Golden Princess comes here in late 2015-16 season the currency is supposed to be AUD and the tips included in the fare This basically translates to "we're putting the prices up and heavily increasing the cost of drinks on board during the transition from US to AUD" while disguising it as doing everyone a favour by making it convenient being in AUD  :p

Rare MicCanberra Posted November 4, 2014 #42 Share Posted November 4, 2014 Isn't it to some loyalty level or suites? Not sure, only been on Celebrity once. I am in a Sky Suite but Big M stated, they do not have access. If Sky and Century suites do not get in, who uses it.

The_Big_M Posted November 5, 2014 #45 Share Posted November 5, 2014 Sky suites are better than the Century suites though. Yes... but there are more of them too. Too many for that lounge to accommodate. Enjoy your sky suite. I think you said you're getting the drinks package, so you're not really missing out on much. I think you said you're getting the drinks package, so you're not really missing out on much. Yes, we have the package and there are other perks that come with the suite like priority boarding and such, if we want to avail ourselves of that. We will most likely be boarding after lunch anyway, as we will be having a farewell party with family onshore at the Ship Inn.:D

The_Big_M Posted November 6, 2014 #48 Share Posted November 6, 2014 Celebrity suites are not Century suites. :D They're above a sky suite on ships that have them, but there aren't any onboard the Century. As you see, no access to Sky suites.
