nu_cruzer1 Posted February 5, 2015 #7 Share Posted February 5, 2015 Can anyone comment on whether the table minimums are actually minimal? I remember reading that on the earlier sailings the table mins were in the $50+ range. Is that still the case. Anyone with recent information on the casino table games? Sent from my iPhone using Forums You have probably had this answered already since your post was months ago. Yes, they will definitely redo the casino for the Asian market. They are taking out the craps table. This will be removed before they leave Bayonne! They will be adding another 35 table games. The casino will expand to take up the space currently occupied by the lower level of the music hall. PS....The short time we were there....casino was major smokey. I could not breath so they didn't get much of my $.
Dardreamer Posted February 6, 2015 #10 Share Posted February 6, 2015 Sailed last week - the casino is smoky. There is one end where no one was smoking. Not very good machines up in that area - but then again the machines are all luck (which I did not have!). The table games - I did not see anyone smoking at them but did not see no smoking signs. The blackjack had two $10 tables and a $50. Roulette was $10. Dice was $5. There was one Let it Ride and one 3 card poker which were hard to get at as always full. They were $10 also. On the 1/3 sailing nothing lower than $15 for blackjack. On the 1/23 sailing there were $10 blackjack tables.
VaTech8912 Posted February 6, 2015 #12 Share Posted February 6, 2015 My husband played at the 3 card poker table. Definitely people were smoking all around him so he didn't play long. Agree the variety of slots in non-smoking area were not great and we too thought the payouts were much lower overall than other ships we have been on. My sister spends a lot of time in the casino on all ships and this was here opinion as well.
Rare OceanCruise Posted February 7, 2015 #13 Share Posted February 7, 2015 Casino is the smokiest I have experienced. I could not tolerate it so after a couple of attempts did not go back.

My sister spends a lot of time in the casino on all ships and this was here opinion as well. I also agree with your sister that the payouts on Quantum seemed to be much lower than other RCI casinos. Casino is the smokiest I have experienced. I could not tolerate it so after a couple of attempts did not go back. There was a big improvement (possible more ventilation) with smoke in the casino on our January sailing compared to our November sailing, which was way too smoky.
