Booking Celebrity while on board a Royal ship

I will be sailing on Adventure next month and want to book a cruise on Celebrity Reflection (Cruise Now) while on board. I have spoken to C&A, they say I can and have spoken to Captain's Club, they say I probably can.

 

Wondering if anyone has first hand knowledge of this situation; is it doable.

Yes, you would get the same benefits as if you had booked abord a Celebrity ship.

It might be more complicated than Bob's response. Earlier this year Celebrity changed the onboard booking program and now credit the OBC IMMEDIATELY. Not sure RCCL wants to be doing this. Hopefully someone who has recently booked Celebrity while onboard RCCL will reply.

Booked the Celebrity Equinox while on Liberty of the Seas two weeks ago. They gave me the $100 OBC but I have to use it on the Equinox cruise.

Booked a Celebrity Constellation sailing for 2015 whilst on Adventure in April this year. Got $175 OBC but to be used on Constellation. Got choice of drinks package or pre-paid gratuities. Chose the drinks package.

Thanks for the advice, but for $500 more (which is our usual alcohol budget), I'm going concierge class for the trifecta (drinks, gratuities, and $300 OBC).

 

Just looking to get an additional $250 OBC for booking on board.
