lawyerboy5555 Posted November 19, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 19, 2014 Hey - for anyone traveling on the Allure in a Suite, such that the full dining room menu is available for room service in the cabin, here's a question - once you place th order, how fast does the meal arrive? It seems like in cruises past, regular room service always took 25-30 minutes, but that was not for the in-room dining from the main dining room for guests in suites. For anyone with somewhat recent experience, any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
gerif Posted November 19, 2014 #2 Share Posted November 19, 2014 Actually that would be hard to say as much would depend on how many other orders are backed up when you place yours.

RSLeesburg Posted November 19, 2014 #6 Share Posted November 19, 2014 I was going to say, 30 minutes or it's free :) On a follow-up question, the menu that is delivered to the room only lists a few of the MDR meals. I was not sure if we are limited to just these choices, or if these are considered the specials of the day or something. Can you order anything that is being served that evening? Also, I thought there were some time restrictions, like you needed to order by a certain time. gerif Posted November 19, 2014 #7 Share Posted November 19, 2014 You are restricted to times when dinner is being served in the dining room - e.g., you can't order dinner at say 4 pm or 10 pm. I don't think you can get things like lobster tail.
Rare Lionesss Posted November 19, 2014 #8 Share Posted November 19, 2014 When we eat in the suite. We place our orders early that day for "6pm" delivery. It usally gets there by 6:15. We preview the menus in the CL. Enjoy, we do. Sea Ya
