chrisoutofafrica Posted December 6, 2014 #1 Share Posted December 6, 2014 (edited) without incurring the corkage fee of 25.00?? Or is it only to be enjoyed in your state room? I can't seem to find the answer here on the boards. This is the freebie for Concierge rooms. Thanks. Rare LHT28 Posted December 6, 2014 #2 Share Posted December 6, 2014 Yes you can take to the dining venue without any problem You could take it earlier in the day so it can be chilled or they may just give you a chilled bottle ..never asked
edgee Posted December 6, 2014 #3 Share Posted December 6, 2014 We just cruised on Oceania in Concierge class this past week. Just take the bottle to the dining room and it will be served without charge and held for you for future evenings, if you do not consume the entire bottle in one evening. Also, ask your stateroom attendant to exchange it for a bottle of red or white wine if that is your preference. We exchanged it for a bottle of Chardonay. We immediately took it to the dining room without time for it to be chilled and it was exchanged for a cold bottle so we could enjoy it right away. chrisoutofafrica Posted December 6, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted December 6, 2014 Now I know. We'll likely just keep the bubbly, We are OK with white sparkling wine. Looking forward to our first evening and will make sure we get it chilled in time. Thanks for your replies.
StanandJim Posted December 6, 2014 #5 Share Posted December 6, 2014 Just take the bottle to the dining room and it will be served without charge and held for you for future evenings, if you do not consume the entire bottle in one evening Wonderful advice, and very accurate, but I don't think that a sparkling wine is one that I'd try to save overnight. You may also have the bottle sent to one of the Lounges, the Theater, or back to your Stateroom. ;)

From our experience you need not take wine to the MDR or any other dinning venue in advance. They will exchange your bottle for a cold one no problem.
