No other ships in port with us?

According to cruisecal dot com of our four port stops we will only have 1 ship with us at 1 port. And all other ports it's just our ship. Can that be right? I'm looking at September 2015. Am I just looking too far in advance?

I like it when we are the only ones in port. The streets aren't crowded and the venders are more willing to deal.

Looking forward to our upcoming Liberty cruise in January. We are the only ship in all three ports.

we were the only ship in port for all 5 of our port on our Valor cruise last Oct...and so far the schedule shows us as the only ship for our Liberty cruise next Sept. It was really nice not having crowded beaches etc!

In St. Martin last week we had 6 ships! Nearly 25,000 people clogged the island.. It was taxi madness in the streets.

 

I just looked at both of the websites above and they both didn't list the 3 other ships in port... so I guess take them with a grain of salt.

Possible? Sure! Likely, no.....no matter,...they can accommodate as many as they allow.

Most possible your cruise on the Breeze in September won't have other ships at the ports. This time of year is not "congested" in the Caribbean as most of the other ships are still doing the Mediterranean cruises, Canadian cruises or just finishing up the Alaska season but still working their way back to the Caribbean.

It's totally possible in the Caribbean in September to not have other ships in some ports with you because many cruise lines do not have sailings in the Caribbean that time of year.

I am on the Carnival Dream in March. The dream holds 3652 passengers and is the only ship at a pier in 2 of the 3 stops. It may be coincidence, but maybe Carnival plans only having 1 large ship at a pier at a time? Just a theory. The other cruise lines are docked in the same city, so the city is far from unoccupied.
