bigairboarder44 Posted January 3, 2015 #2 Share Posted January 3, 2015 I was watching it on marinetraffic and noticed this about 15 minutes ago as well. You can see it coming back on the NE Ft. Lauderdale webcam.
Overtyme Posted January 4, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 4, 2015 Facebook C&A is reporting that Oasis is returning to Florida. Is this accurate, and if so, can anyone on board offer some insight? Sent from my iPhone using Forums

ohlalalaur Posted January 4, 2015 #7 Share Posted January 4, 2015 Reports are saying it may have been something to do with someone in the H2O Zone, perhaps a child if this is the case.

Rare DragonOfTheSeas Posted January 4, 2015 #10 Share Posted January 4, 2015 What amazes me is that there are 4 threads started on this. I am not complaining about the number of threads. . . . just amazed everyone watches O of the S on the webcam. :p
OCruisers Posted January 4, 2015 #11 Share Posted January 4, 2015 Normally it is for a medical emergency. Good job by Oasis to get the person back to FLL as quickly as possible. LuLu

OCruisers Posted January 4, 2015 #13 Share Posted January 4, 2015 Best to get the person in need of medical attention back to FLL. Feel sure most on the ship feel the same. LuLu

TheMastodon Posted January 4, 2015 #15 Share Posted January 4, 2015 Surprised a coast guard boat from Miami doesn't come out to pick up the passenger when they are that far south.

Pilot53 Posted January 4, 2015 Author #17 Share Posted January 4, 2015 Not necessarily, they can cut loose pretty quickly. Could be more than one injury, or waiting for the injured or sick party to gather up their stuff and disembark.

Pilot53 Posted January 4, 2015 Author #20 Share Posted January 4, 2015 Oh man. That is bad. Hope they were revived. A death on the ship would probably cause the cruise to be cancelled. Investigation, interviewing witnesses, coroners report. And the fact that it happened so quickly. Wonder if alcohol was involved.

Pilot53 Posted January 4, 2015 Author #23 Share Posted January 4, 2015 Hopefully, the kid was found quickly and revived. If the sheriff leaves the ship quickly, you can figure the "patient" is still alive.
Loggra Posted January 4, 2015 #24 Share Posted January 4, 2015 We went on a cruise where a young boy died the evening before we got on and our leaving was delayed 3 hours while they did the investigation and let the family and deceased child off the ship. The entire embarkation was very, very subdued as we were all so sad over what had happened. I hope and pray they were able to revive this child...
