I went to the first one and no one was there. Totally forgot about the 2nd one..too many drinks that afternoon!!
I totally understand. The first one was my fault, I neglected to say where we were supposed to meet (as in a specific location). I have to apologize for that. In my head, it was at the bar (and that is where I went) but on my way there, I suddenly realized that I was not sure I had said that - I might have in a post on the roll call much earlier but....). I did hang out at the bar for a while, but began getting some strange looks sitting there by myself drinking...;).

I can also relate to the too many drinks comments. Sorry I missed you.
We would have boarded just after you with FTTF. We walked right up to Guy's and grabbed our burgers and many glasses of champagne!!
We were kind of spread out with about half of us in the priority lounge and the second half in Zone2.

Funny story... Some of the "clan" had strollers and had to use the elevators and got separated from us on the way up to board the ship. We had our oldest grand daughter with us (she was listed in our cabin) but her mother had her sign and sail card. We discovered this at the last checkpoint before the hallway to the gangway. Ooooops.:o

The elevator comes from the other direction (their were two gangways open to the ship). Luckily,I ran ahead and flagged down the parents.:D
I am enjoying your review. I just booked this 6-day itinerary on the Breeze so I am looking forward to your pics of the ship and the ports. Thanks Again for sharing
Thanks for the kind words. I love your reviews, yours was one of the ones I was referring to when I talked about reading other reviews. Sadly, I don't have a lot of pics on ports (some but not a bunch). Feel free to ask on anything. It was a wonderful cruise.

Thank You so much. They are a lot of work but they are fun to put them together. I am sure that I will have some questions along the way

Interesting that you say that. I have been around here a while and fairly outspoken fan of Carnival. While always loving the reviews, I never really seriously thought about doing one, specifically for the reason you mention (the work involved).

It was not until we sailed on Oasis last March that I wanted to do one specifically to give my (somewhat jaundiced view, but hey it is all I have:)) of a Carnival cruiser who was sailing the biggest and best of a competitor cruise line. Certainly not to rile feathers or get into the CCL vs RCCL debate that is so ever present here, but an honest view of the differences and more importantly the similarities. I brought my iPad on the cruise and jotted down notes each day. When we got home I took those and the pics and started a review which I thought would be 4 or 5 posts. LOL, it turned out to be much more, maybe way much more than needed, but the important thing was how much I enjoyed doing it. It was really like reliving the cruise again. Long winded way of saying you are correct it is a lot of work but the rewards are well worth it.

This is now my third review, I am not sure I am getting any better (but maybe more long winded) ;), but I really enjoy doing it and would encourage anyone else to try it as well.
Yep it's all in good fun and if people have questions along that's even better.
Which now I do have a question about the Breeze....is there a Sports Bar??
There is. The sports bar on the Breeze is located adjacent to (really in) the casino. There is a meandering path that twines it's way through from the front of the ship back to the limelight lounge. Along the way from the atrium it goes through the middle of the casino and weaves to the left. That is where the sports bar is, not a separate room but where the bar would be at the aft section of the casino on most other Carnival ships.

From there, it runs along the starboard side past the computer station hub as well as the agent for future cruise bookings, (forget what they call it), Sushi bar, Oceans plaza which is an area that goes across ship and a place where entertainment happens, coffee bar, martini bar are and then past the Sushi bar Red, Frog Pub, nightclub and Piano bar and finally the Steakhouse and the Limelight show room.

There are several areas that open to the outside which has a walk way around the entire ship. Pretty unique, and panned by a lot here because it alters their view from balconies.

I know I have pics, and when I get home will post them (some may be from our first cruise on the Breeze), but still relevant.

Thank you so much. I figured that there was a sports bar but I wasn't seeing it on the deck plan. I usually spend a lot of time in the sports bar Edited by wrigley80

Hubby and I are in our 40's and have six kids, 5 teens, one toddler....what were we thinking? We are taking them on cruises now in the hopes they will take us with them later when they are grown. Hubby just said tonight they might take us at least as baby sitters.

We often say, if they have half as many as us, we will have 18 grandchildren. That's assuming we, and they, survive the teen years.

Great review and keep it coming!

Thanks, LOL surviving is always a good idea. The teen years were the worst part.....

I have some gopro videos of going down these, but still fussing round with them.

Around 2:30 we headed downstairs to clean up. We were all going to dinner at Cucina Del Capitano that evening. Boy were they in for a surprise.

But first, went down and showered and went out on the balcony to see the people returning. Edited by jimbo5544
