Hi we just crossed over to Elite and Im looking at the perks - what is involved in the Coffee House menu? I see coffees etc and im assuming danish type treats - what other breakfast items can you get? Is this a good substitute for eggs etc at buffet?

Any info appreciated - thanks

It's almost always continental breakfast, cold meat, cheese, fruit, yogurt, smoothies, pastries, salmon/onion/capers/tomatoes.

Once Ina blue moon there have been reports of a hot dish, a quiche or egg casserole but those reports are few and far between and we have never had that, we have only had the continental breakfast

You can get mimosas and Bloody Mary and cappuccino and espresso ther too

Are the mimosas, bloody Mary's, and cappuccinos complimentary as well (for Elites)? The Celebrity site talks about espresso being available at no charge...but not sure about cappuccinos. We usually eat b'fast in Blu, and have yogurt, meat/cheese plate, and smoked salmon - so this sounds like a good option for us (tho I do like an eg gin the morning!). Not doing the beverage pkg on this cruise, otherwise I would get coffee at the coffee shop.

Thx

Years ago, at least on some ships, there would be one hot offering such as quiche or french toast. The last time I remember such a hot dish was on a Mercury cruise, and the Mercury left the fleet in the spring of 2011.

No, usually the Elite breakfast is held in a specialty restaurant. On the Reflection it was in the Tuscan Grill- very nice view of the wake of the ship. There is a menu of several plated options and one of a combination of all options. You can order as many as you wish and even share plates.

It's a great way to have a served breakfast with coffees and drinks. Lovely!
