Transfers from Venice Airport to Cruise Terminal

a lot of people use the people mover. How close is your timing for arriving to the port?

If it's tight, I would arrange ahead of time with a private company. They'll pick you up, transfer you to the water taxi which takes you right to the ship.

Yes, it is a bit expensive, but the viewings are fantastic on the water taxi and if you are lucky and hit your roll call you may find someone to share the water taxi with which makes it very do-able.

It's a nice way to go - if you can do it once.

Land taxis are readily available at the airport, just walk outside. Fast trip by taxi and they will take you to the boarding area of the ship, you do not need the people mover or a water taxi. We used a private car company this past October to get us to the airport from Marina, it was a fraction of the cost Oceania charged. I would not do water taxi.

Our venice airport experience is luggage retrieval is very slow. if you are checking bags this may slow you down.

Car service, RomeinLimo, worked very well. They deliver you and your luggage directly to the ship. No need to learn how to use the bus and the people mover. The water taxi is a pretty ride but an unnecesary expense when you are too tired to really enjoy it.
