biziasabee Posted January 18, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 18, 2015 I have been unable to view any posts within the Celebrity Constellation forum so I am going to post here. We are sailing soon January 29 and will be onboard while the Superbowl is shown. Where is the best place onboard to watch the Superbowl, in otherwords where is the biggest tv that my DH can sit and enjoy. Also if anyone knows why I cant see the threads in the Celebrity Constellation forum please let me know, when I click on a thread it gives me: sorry there are no posts here. I've checked my DH laptop and get the same message and out of curiosity I checked on other ships forums as well, same message. Thanks in advance. ECCruise Posted January 18, 2015 #2 Share Posted January 18, 2015 In all probability the game will be shown on a big screen in the theater. That has always been our experience with Celebrity for the Super Bowl. They likely will have the theater decorated in opposing teams colors, there will be special foods like wings and the like and of course booze will be available. Probably the coolest SB party we ever attended was on the Solstice for the 2013 game (Ravens-Niners) off the coast of Australia (at 10:30 AM Monday). Celebrity really outdid themselves. Rare Lois R Posted January 18, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 18, 2015 (edited) The last time I sailed on Super Bowl Sunday was on Summit and they had a fabulous set up. There was GIANT (I mean GIANT) screen that took up the whole stage in the main theater. There was food, drink and decorations in both team colors. (lots of all 3). The theater had LOTS of people too:) There was also more food set up in the casino, where they also had the games on the tv's in there too. They had the "Squares game" too........10.00 and 20.00 squares. One of my tablemates won the 4th quarter......I will always remember that one! It was Feb 2011 and the Packers beat the Steelers. To be honest with you, they actually changed the first formal night of the cruise I was on......the first formal night was Superbowl Sunday. Formal night was changed to Monday. Now, I don't know if every ship does it.....just giving info on what was my experience. Enjoy your cruise and since I have no horse in the race, I just hope it is a good game;) Edited January 18, 2015 by Lois R
Rare Essiesmom Posted January 18, 2015 #4 Share Posted January 18, 2015 I clicked on the Celebrity Constellation link at the top of the page - it is not a forum, but a shortcut to the search feature - and got a whole page of threads. EM

handy4u Posted January 19, 2015 #8 Share Posted January 19, 2015 Watched the super bowl on the Eclipse in 2013 and had a great time! This is a huge event for us Americans that they do up very nicely in the main theater. They have "tailgate" type food set up right there with a 5 for the price of 3 beer special that comes in an ice bucket! Bring a bottle opener if you drink non twist top beers like Coronas as you'll be glad you did. My "cruising wallet" has a bottle opener as the money clip! Only problem was the Caribbean feed commercials stink! They show soccer and cricket over and over. I'll be on the Eclipse for the super bowl which will be day 1 of the itinerary. I'm guessing they will be able to get a USA feed so we will get the proper commercials.
