How is the boarding experience with Enchantment Of The Seas

I was on Enchantment of Seas in January. We got there at 11 am and were on the ship within minutes.

 

We were in a Suite but I didn't see much of line for Platinum + or non-CA members.

 

I thought the process was rather smoothed compared to FTL

You can't compare terminal 10 to terminal 1. Totally different boarding experience.

Didn't know they changed from 10 to 1...what's wrong with 1?

I don't know if something is wrong with it, or maybe since they just started using it, they are still getting the kinks worked out. There have been reports of boarding delays.

My cruise documents state Terminal #1 in the Port Directions section on Pg.8, BUT, my SetSail pass has Cruise Terminal #10.

 

From what I have been reading here on CC, I believe it is #1, but wasn't certain for sure. I don't want to assume that RC did not update their system.

 

We sail on the 4-day in Feb.

You sailed on Jan 9th from terminal 10 and came back Jan 12th to terminal 1.

Yep, that's exactly what we did and there were a lot of upset people who parked at Terminal 10...we did park and ride :)

Did the cruise line provide shuttles back to terminal 10?

I had to pay for a taxi to get back.

Yeah, it was hard to find, though. We used it but there were no signs or directions, we just had to ask around.

 

EDIT: Actually, if you did the B2B there may not have been one.

There wasn't. They dumped us off and we had to fend for ourselves. :D

With Explorer, Freedom, Enchantment, Grandeur, and Quantum using Port Canaveral, there could be days when Enchantment has to use terminal 10 again.

 

This past Friday Carnival was at terminal 10 where Enchantment normally would have been. Port Canaveral is getting to be one busy place.

They said they were going to, don't know if they did. I didn't park at Terminal. I like doing the parking off sight with shuttle, its very helpful
