Super Bowl to be shown live on Constellation

I would expect so too, but keep in mind they didn't even plan to show the NFL Playoffs. Passengers had to make themselves heard to get the NFL Playoffs shown in one of the public venues. To their credit, the Cruise Director did get 2 tvs and a good sound system set up in Wine Masters. Even though there was no notice or announcement, the venue was packed! On a prior cruise passengers finally got the ship to show the 2013 MLB World Series in Michael's Club after already missing the 1st two games.

For the ship to actually plan to show a sporting event in the main theater is a major item!

Hmmm....sounds like something with the Constellation then:eek:.....I have

sailed many times over the years during the Playoffs and for the

Superbowl.....there were never any issues at all. Actually, the games

were always listed in the daily.

I am surprised to read they had no plans to show the games but

am not surprised the venue was packed....glad they decided to put

them on:)

We were on the Equinox for the Superbowl. The game was terrible but Celebrity did a great job! They sold squares in the casino. They had balloons covering the stage and up the sides. Each side had one team's colors. They served great food too. Sliders, nachos, several other appetizers and some sweets, I believe. The bar was open. There were a few problems with the satellite reception and missing a few seconds here and there. Some pax were decked out in team apparel and there was a lot of cheering and laughing. All in all, it was a great time.

HI Lois!

Me too, have been on board during NFL season and the playoffs many times, they've always shown the games....all the way back to my 1st cruise 16 years ago when they had Monday Night Football in the theater and a trivia contest at half time....I think perhaps they forgot to put it in the daily but suspect it was planned all along....

Shoot on our Med cruise in 2011 they even showed the games there, I was amazed when I woke up early for a tour and there was the end of the Sunday Night game on my TV(6 hour time difference!!!)
