Planning on Cagney's for DH's birthday. If you could only pick one other what one would you pick? Thinking of doing a total of 3.This will be our first NCL cruise.

Ocean Blue has the best food on the ship but it's not cheap. Moderno has very good meat served Rodizio style and has a great salad bar.

Another vote for Le Bistro. Les fruits de mer is a seafood puff pastry that is AMAZING!

Going another way...last two cruises on the Gem we were not impressed with Bistro. We love Teppanaki ....the "show" is cute and the food is great. Moderno's has a fantastic salad bar...Italian...nothing special

Do yourself a favor and purchase the ultimate dining package. It works out to $17 per person, per day. It is WELL worth it, and really adds to the cruise experience. It lets you "restaurant hop" all over the ship, and the first night showing of Le Cirque is included. DW and I almost always purchase it. We love it.

I would do Teppanyaki and Cirque. I would not do Ocean Blue, my wife and I were both very disappointed in our meals there. My steak was nothing special and slightly over cooked and my wife's scallops had sand in them.

Thank you everyone. Because this is our first NCL cruise we want to try the dining rooms so maybe the next time will will do the DP. This will be our first cruise not taking formal wear so we plan on a couple of nights in O'Sheehans. Booking Cagney's, LeBistro and Moderno.
