Yes

To the left of the mirror there is a a little square thingie (technical term) that when u press it it lights up and stays on. It gives u enough light to ensure that u don't fall into the commode but not enough to wake your bed partner

You mean sort of stays on. Very picky that connection, because it has a push type on/off switch on the socket

Here is a pic of the bathroom. You can see the nightlight on the wall right next to the commode. Although small, it works quite well.
