Recent Prices of Liquor & Cigarettes in Ship Duty-Free Shop?

Does anyone have a recent price list for the alcohol? My friend is particularly interested in the price of vodka, but I don't know what kind.

Also, what is the cost of cigarettes per carton and is there a limit you can take off the ship duty free?

Thanks in advance. :)

The limit is what the US government lets you bring into the country. I think the limit is 200 cigarettes . I think the limit is double if you stop on some islands (St John's US VI ??) The price varies by which cruise your on. On-board alcohol isn't allowed to be used on-board. It is stored and delivered to your cabin the night be disembarkation.

DH and I just sailed on the Sensation in late January and the cigarettes (Benson Hedges) were $30-something a carton, about $25 per carton cheaper than we can buy in our city. Other brands like Marlboro may be even cheaper.

Thanks to all who responded.

I was also wondering if there was a price sheet floating around.

Spanky - I believe the ship packages it up nicely for you in a cardboard box. If you pack it well, then you should be fine.

I usually just get my liquor the last night of the cruise instead of purchasing ahead of time. There have been some stories on CC about liquor being delivered to the wrong room when they purchased it during the week. We're driving to port so hopefully we can do self-assist. Perhaps I need to bring along some bungy cords....

This may hard to read but here is a recent price list. Also, some cruises offer an additional discount the first night or two at the Fun Shops. This is when I'm more likely to purchase.

On our recent Inspiration cruise many bottles were $37/2 mix and match.

The discount was during the holiday time. Haven't seen it in January or February.

Just off the Liberty and cigarettes were $36.00 per carton, 2 for $64.00 or 3 for $84.00. Those were for Marlboro, Viriginia Slims, Winston, Kool. Pall Mall were $20.00 per carton. Newports were higher around $40.00. Selection is limited so if you are picky, bring your brand with you.

Thanks for the info. I'll be on the four day Imagination next weekend.
