One Haven room, one not question

I have a question..

If one family is booked into two cabins, one being a Haven cabin and the other not, can the entire family check in priority? Can the non Haven guests enjoy any of the Haven perks? Breakfast/lunch at Cagneys etc?

Thanks

And if you want to board together it is perfectly acceptable for you to board with them in the general boarding area. That way you won't be separated and won't add extra people to the suite boarding area.

Haven is only for Haven guests, invitations to your room are fine. They must be escorted in and out of the Haven. Haven guests are allowed to have guests for a meal in the Haven twice during each cruise at a cost of $25 per person. You can coordinate through the Concierge.

The OP mentioned Cagneys so I'm assuming they are on a Jewel class ship. Does the $25 to take a guest include lunch at Cagneys on such ships? I'd assumed it was just for evening meals on ships with a Haven restaurant, but that was just an assumption.

It depends on your relationship with the concierge

Friends traveled in the haven with niece and nephew who weren't and the concierge Adrian made arrangements so they could eat in Cagney's and enjoy the Havven facilities

This is definitely not the norm and in most cases I heard you the members of your party not in the Haven can't use any of the Haven perks

We were in a non-Haven suite on the Jewel in December, and had our kids in a close-by, non-suite cabin. There was no problem with them going through the Haven/suite boarding and departing (both for excursions and at the end of the cruise) with us, and no problem with them joining us in Moderno for breakfast and lunch. This was our first cruise, so I don't know what I don't know, but I had the sense that this was routine in this situation.

I am really not trying to be rude but think about the question for a minute and think of it in terms of other services.

I have a friend booked in first class on a plane, if there is an empty seat would they mind if I sat with my friend and got the benefits?

Why should the rest of your family get to use any of the perks of the Haven without paying for them.

The rules will usually be bent if you are travelling with minors in a connecting room...but if your kids were in a close -by ( non connecting) cabin, I assume there was at least one 21 year old.

I would say that you were very lucky!

Kids were 19 and 18; their cabin was close to our suite but not connecting. We certainly may have been lucky; just my sense that their joining us for suite perks was not considered out of the ordinary. We all did have the UDP (which we paid for, not a promotion at that point), but that shouldn't have mattered for Moderno breakfast and lunch. Ship was full, so it wasn't a question of extra capacity (although we never saw more than a handful of people in Moderno for lunch or breakfast. In any event, it certainly worked out well for us!
