lsad18 Posted February 22, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 22, 2015 I'm going to be in Copenhagen for just one day in June of this year (2015). I'm thinking of using the \hop on Hop off transit. Anyone have experience using this here ... or would you suggest something else

CruiserBruce Posted February 22, 2015 #3 Share Posted February 22, 2015 (edited) The Northern Europe board is here: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=192 You will have great difficulty finding a Copenhagen board. sail7seas Posted February 23, 2015 #4 Share Posted February 23, 2015 Copenhagen is a small, intimate city and is very walkable. There are three pedestrian only streets that are wonderful for strolling. Walk to Little Mermaid and to changing of the guard. Tivoli is wonderful fun and Han Christian Anderson was the inspiration for Walt Disney. See a bit of Tivoli if possible. It is charming. Wonderful lunch. :)

FTLcruisers Posted February 23, 2015 #6 Share Posted February 23, 2015 if the timing works, you might try Sandeman's New Europe free walking tour (tour is free, you tip what you feel appropriate at the end) http://www.newcopenhagentours.com/. We used them in June of last year and had an awesome guide - saw a lot of Copenhagen in a few hours and certainly learned a lot. Marianne

ISLABONITA Posted February 24, 2015 #9 Share Posted February 24, 2015 Is there a time schedule for the tours? I couldn't find what time they start.
FTLcruisers Posted February 24, 2015 #10 Share Posted February 24, 2015 Sandeman's tours are at 11AM. Once you are on their website, you will see that information and be able to register (no cost). If you don't register, you can still show up. Not sure why they use the registration - maybe just to determine whether anyone is interested.
