Beachgirl85 Posted February 27, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 27, 2015 A silly ? But If I prepay my daily service charge tonight before the increase but I don't sail until May will I pay the difference once on board? Just trying to save wherever possible. TIA
nyc12345 Posted February 27, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 27, 2015 If you prepaid your gratuities, then they can ask you for the difference, at least that's my understanding...

Pretty sure NYC meant to say cannot . . . or maybe can't. ;) Either way, once prepaid you won't owe more on board.

Kingofwylietx Posted February 27, 2015 #7 Share Posted February 27, 2015 They are all correct, pay tonight to save some cash (which you would have to pay anyways, so it really is a deal). You will NOT be asked for more when you sail in May, if you prepay now. Enjoy your cruise! We are cruising in May too, this is a good reminder to go ahead and pay ours at the lower rate! garycarla Posted February 28, 2015 #8 Share Posted February 28, 2015 There are only 2 reasons that I think you should prepay. 1 - You get to pay the lower rate. or 2 - You are getting a better exchange rate on your money
