Looking for the best tourist trap expensive NOLA restaurant. Commanders Palace? Emiril"s? Just need a can't miss place. My 65th (husband spending the actual Bday at Fenway Park) and want a great experience.

Try looking at Antoine's at 713 Saint Louis Street.

OK! We went to Mulate's, right by the pier/Convention Center.We went there two nights in a row, it was really tasty. Try the gumbo and you must have the bread pudding for dessert! They have music and dancing and everything, totally fun and cheesy!

In the French Quarter, Antoine's, Arnaud's, Galatoire's (requires a jacket), Muriel's at Jackson Square (also jacket). Garden District, definitely Commander's Palace. I would not recommend Mulates, its more like a New Orleans TGIF.

Nola (emerils place) for dinner, court of 3 sisters for bread pudding, pat o'briens for a hurricane. Acme oyster house for midnight

Garlic parmesan oyster snack.

Many expensive and good places. What kind of restaurant do you want? Noisy, party time, family good food, formal/elegant? That to me would dictate the choices. There are many, many good ones!!
